David is an attorney in the firm’s Los Angeles office, specializing in insurance defense litigation. As part of the firm’s general liability and catastrophic injury group, David focuses his practice on the defense of individuals, businesses, and insurance companies against claims ranging from personal injury to premises liability.
David represents his clients enthusiastically, focusing on effective communication and assistance with the variety of complex issues that arise in the context of litigation. He has experience in all aspects of civil litigation including conducting and defending depositions, handling complex discovery plans and disputes, drafting and arguing pre-trial discovery motions, resolving cases at mediations, and trials.
Prior to joining Thompson Coe, David worked in a Fortune 1000 insurance company’s in-house legal department with an emphasis in defending clients in catastrophic automobile/trucking and premises liability cases. After graduating from law school, he gained experience at a national law firm defending governmental entities in federal and civil cases involving wrongful death police shootings, excessive force, and wrongful arrest. This experience allows David to understand and adapt to all types of legal issues that arise in his current practice.
