Thompson Coe Names Four New Partners for 2008
Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, L.L.P., a premier Texas law firm, is pleased to welcome four new partners into the firm, effective January 1. They are: Rhonda Thompson, Craig Dowis, Eric Hansum, and Will Moye.
Rhonda Thompson, Dallas, practices in the Insurance Litigation and Coverage section, concentrating on insurance coverage and bad faith issues. She has represented primary, umbrella, excess and workers' compensation insurers in a variety of coverage-related litigation, including declaratory judgment actions, bad faith cases, and carrier to carrier disputes.
Craig Dowis, Dallas, practices in the Professional Liability group and defends real estate agents, lawyers, engineers, and insurance agents throughout the state. As part of his service to real estate agents and their clients, he offers in-house seminars on a wide range of issues they may face during the course of a property transaction.
Eric Hansum, Austin, practices in the Labor and Employment section. His practice includes litigation and counseling in a variety of employment topics including wrongful terminations, ERISA, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII discrimination, and wage and hour law. He lectures frequently to management groups on a variety of employment issues.
Will Moye, Houston, practices in the Casualty and Mass Tort & Product Liability sections. His practice focuses on civil litigation with emphasis in the fields of product liability defense, transportation law, and consumer law/warranty litigation. He is lead counsel for several automobile manufacturers in state and federal litigation for wrongful death and severe personal injury claims.
