Chris focuses his practice on commercial coverage and property matters involving allegations of bad faith. His experience includes successful litigation of complex coverage issues, as well as large property and business interruption claims. Although Chris bases his practice in Texas, he routinely represents carriers on claims across the country, particularly in the South.

Chris’s complex coverage practice involves representing carriers in a variety of unique situations including those involving commercial equipment, oilfield personal injuries, construction defects, and contractual indemnity claims.  He takes a hands-on approach to the investigation and has personally inspected a variety of unique properties, machines, and commercial equipment.  He also regularly advises clients how to successfully transition claims from the investigation stage to actual litigation.

Chris also serves on the Council of the State Bar Insurance Section, as well as an Assistant Editor of Right Off the Press. This involvement allows him to provide fast legal updates and analysis to clients on cutting edge insurance issues.
