Chris is a veteran insurance practitioner with deep experience in both complex coverage and bad-faith cases.  He defends insurance carriers across the State of Texas and in courts around the country.  His practice focuses primarily on defending insurance carriers in complex coverage cases, particularly those involving allegations of bad faith.

Chris’s complex coverage practice involves representing carriers in a variety of unique situations including those involving commercial equipment, oilfield personal injuries, construction defects, and contractual indemnity claims.  He takes a hands-on approach to the investigation and has personally inspected a variety of unique properties, machines, and commercial equipment.  He also regularly advises clients how to successfully transition claims from the investigation stage to actual litigation.

Chris brings a deep understanding of the multi-faceted aspects of Texas jurors and the intricacies of trying a bad-faith insurance case.  He has successfully defended insurers in cases ranging from minor roof claims to multi-million dollar commercial property and equipment claims.
