Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, L.L.P. is pleased to announce the election of two new Partners: Mariah Baker Quiroz based in the Dallas office and Zandra Foley based in the Houston office.
Ms. Quiroz analyzes and litigates complex coverage matters. She concentrates on insurance coverage disputes and bad faith litigation in a variety of areas, including commercial general liability, commercial property and auto, personal lines, professional liability, and excess and umbrella policies. Additionally, Ms. Quiroz represents primary and excess insurers in a variety of coverage-related litigation, including declaratory judgment actions and bad faith litigation in state and federal court, and regularly advises insurers on coverage issues as well. Ms. Quiroz was admitted to practice in Texas in 2001.
Ms. Foley maintains a dual practice in both the Casualty and Professional Liability Sections representing individuals, businesses, and professionals in various types of tort litigation, including death and injury claims and malpractice claims. Her clients include apartment complexes, movie theatres, national product manufacturers, corporations, small businesses, lawyers, brokers, and other professionals. In addition, Ms. Foley has first and second chair trial experience. She was admitted to practice in Texas in 2001.
