Thompson Coe Names Six New Partners

Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, L.L.P., one of the leading Texas-based law firms in the insurance industry according to recognized professional surveys, is please to welcome six new partners into the firm, effective January 1. They are: Jody Stasney, George Arnold, Emily Shoup, Mark Jung, Danielle Shields, and Mike Johnson.

Jo Allison (Jody) Stasney, a member of the firm's Insurance Litigation & Coverage practice group, is resident in Thompson Coe's Dallas office. She received a B.B.A from The University of Texas at Austin in 1984 and her J.D. from St. Mary's University in 1991.

George H. Arnold, a member of the Casualty & Tort Litigation practice group, is resident in the firm's Houston office. He received a B.A. from Baylor University in 1989 and earned his J.D. from Baylor University Law School in 1992.

Emily A. Shoup, a member of the firm's Mass Tort & Product Liability and Securities Litigation - D&O Liability practice groups, is resident in Thompson Coe's Dallas office. She earned a B.B.A. from The University of Texas in 1996 and received her J.D. from Southern Methodist University in 1999.

Mark J. Jung, a member of the firm's Mass Tort & Products Liability practice group, is resident in Thompson Coe's Dallas office. He received a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin in 1996 and earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 1999.

Danielle Harsany Shields, a member of the Mass Tort & Product Liability practice group, is resident in the firm's Houston office. She received a Master of Business Management from Baylor University Hankamer School of Business in 1998, a B. S. from Southwestern Adventist University in 1992, and earned her J.D. from Baylor University Law School in 1998.

Michael B. Johnson, a member of the Casualty & Tort Litigation and Professional Liability practice groups, is resident in the firm's Austin office. He received a B.A. from The University of Texas in 1994 and earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1997.
