ABC Retains Thompson Coe as Chapter Attorney

RETAINS THOMPSON COE AS CHAPTER ATTORNEY

DALLAS – The North Texas chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), an association of commercial contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and construction industry professionals, announced today that it has retained the law firm Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, L.L.P. as its chapter attorney. In this capacity, Thompson Coe – led by partner John A. Isbell, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Construction Law practice groups and resident in the firm’s Dallas office – will provide legal counsel to the association chapter and will serve as a resource for chapter members.

Associated Builders and Contractors is a national trade association representing more than 23,000 merit shop contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and related firms in 82 chapters across the U.S. ABC’s membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors of the industry. ABC’s activities encompass government relations, legal advocacy, education, workforce development, communications, technology, recognition through national and chapter award programs, employee benefits, information on best practices and business development through an online contractor search directory.

ABC North Texas is the only full service, merit construction trade association in the region. ABC North Texas has nearly 300 members and is one of eight ABC chapters in Texas. There are more than 2,100 members of ABC throughout Texas.
