Jamie K. Baker’s experience includes the organization and management of state and federal litigation projects involving complex insurance and business issues. • Obtained appellate ruling reversing lower court decision on matter of significant impact to indemnitors
• Obtained summary judgment in federal court dismissing insurer from multi-million dollar lawsuit on grounds of no duty to defend
• Obtained traditional and no-evidence summary judgments in various state courts on behalf of both personal lines and commercial insurers in both first-party and third-party matters
• Advised numerous homeowner's insurers on procedures, protocols, and defenses to new legal theories raised by homeowner's insurance mold litigation
• Managed local counsel in ongoing multi-state commercial litigation
• Represented U.S. Bankruptcy Trustee in ongoing federal litigation matters
